Families comes to us throughout the year in need. Sometimes the needs are as simple as a phone conversation. Out of those conversations we learn that some times they have specific needs that would alleviate so much stress. Books, Weighted Blankets, Assistive Technology etc... Gift Cards for Families in Need Magazine Subscriptions for Special Needs Individuals (HopeLights) Hope Magazine happily accepts donations. Hope Magazine Online always comes across families in need! Therapy Services, Software, Computers, Most cities have places that can upgrade older computers so recycle by donating it to another child or family. Other items often asked for are Weighted Blankets and Vests, Special Needs DVDs and Books for kids and parents. Please email us if you have something that someone else might need before giving to a thrift store or the recycle people because they just get money for melting down the parts as opposed to ensuring people get them who need them. There are many families with special needs children so sometimes gift cards are a good thing too. We will only help you get connected to families in need we will not accept anything on behalf of a family. Here individual families can lists things they cannot afford for their special needs child/adult. Keep it simple. Must submit direct contact information or representative agency. Therapy, Assistive Tech, Computers, Toys, Books, special clothing, wheelchairs/scooters. Email your requests here. Non Profits list what you need for your offices or special clients (this is not a fundraiser page) Maybe your office needs a couch, chairs, coffeemaker, paper, copier etc...Direct Contact information must be submitted with your agencies wish. Hope Magazine Online will only be able to forward your wish or desire to help directly to that family or agency. Organizations will send in their wish list for office equipment, volunteers etc. Maybe they need a desk or decent computer or someone who knows computers/software. They might need pillows or special lighting for a sensory room. Special Ed rooms might need a Hug Roller or other devices that School Districts can't afford. Maybe a wagon to carry items to a yard sale or a trunk for a short time for a special event. May you would like a coffee maker for all-nighters writing a grant. Paper for a copier or printer. Ink OK you get the idea. Just a quick note but some of the home businesses listed on the Ezine can be great for nonprofits too.
