Story and Article Submissions

Here are the guidelines for submitting your story or professional articles to Hope Magazine Online for publication.

By submitting your story or article including photos you are giving Hope Magazine Online permission to publish it.

We will never change what you write but will correct typos. In that light I would also say that submissions have to maintain integrity befitting to a family site.

Personal Stories

Hope Magazine Online will not publish any photos of naked children of any age no matter how adorable they may be. Nor will publish photos of children kissing even siblings. Unfortunately, while we are innocently sharing cute pictures of our kids my background in Social Services urges me not to for the safety of our children. I would also encourage parents not to do this on social networking sites as well.

Your stories need to be as long as they need to be but keep in mind we can't publish books. If you have that much to say you need to write a book. Then you may approach us to help you promote it.

Keep in mind that not everyone shares your views so present from your perspective. "Every one should be doing it" and criticizing isn't really the image we want to promote and honestly is really isn't always the case nor does it lead to resolution. A perfect example is the vaccine debate. Its perfectly ok that you do not want to do or that you will always do it, but that is a very individual decision. We are very open to sharing stories where people feel or know that vaccines damaged their child(ren).

Hope Magazine Online will not publish any articles or stories that reflect hate or bashing of any kind.

The idea behind sharing personal stories is that we want to offer hope and inspiration yet express our frustrations and challenges.

I like to think that if Hope Magazine Online can reach one person man or woman felling isolated by their circumstance we have accomplished a great thing.

If we can show solutions in a healthy and productive manner then we again have accomplished much.

Professional Articles

We welcome professionals to submit articles in their area of expertise.

Please include a paragraph about who you are and if you are currently affiliated with any agency or organization as well as your credentials and contact information.

Please don't just use the article to promote your business, book or services. If you would like to advertise your service, book, or business please visit our advertising page for more information and rates. You may include your logo or banner for your article page.

All Submissions

Must be in Word format or pasted into an email.

Convert your PDF before sending.

Photos have to be placed manually so attach them to the email rather than insert them. We may resize photos.
